Decoding our INCI: 

 Aqua (Water):Is a solvent that aids ingredients in dissolving because they cannot dissolve in oil.

Decyl Oleate:Both alcohol and fragrance free, acts as a lubricant on the skin surface giving off a soft and smooth appearance.

Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate:A plant derived ingredient made up of stearic acid and polyglycerin-6 which come together to form a film on the skin surface that effectively moisturizes without creating the feeling of oiliness or greasiness.

Glycerin:Natural moisturizer found in skin that keeps lipids between skin cells healthy, protects from irritation, and restore skin barrier. 

Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate:Works as an oil-absorbing agent allowing the product to be long-lasting on the skin and spread easily across the surface. 

Cetearyl Alcohol:Multitasking ingredient that helps to stabilize water-oil mixes and leaves the skin feeling soft. It is made up of a mix of cetyl and stearyl alcohol but despite being chemically classified as an alcohol it does not have the standard drying properties of one. This ingredient is non-drying and non-irritating to the skin. 

C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate:A mild emollient that leaves the skin feeling light and silky to touch. 

Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate:This solution is water soluble and used to brighten and sooth skin, while also having anti-acne properties. 

Isopentyldiol:Humectant liquid that does not contain a color or an odor, and is water-soluble. This ingredient makes the skin smooth and allows for the product to have a dry, non-tacky finished feel to the skin. 

Zinc PCA:This ingredient works to stop acne production while moisturizing the skin. The Zinc component works to normalize sebum production and anti-acne agents. The PCA stands for pyrrolidone carboxylic acid and it helps to process hydration and energy in the skin. 

Allantoin:Found in roots and leaves of the comfrey plant and is a very common ingredient to use for smoothing properties in products. Allantoin also helps with soft skin and can aid in wound healing. 

Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Bud Oil:Is an anti-inflammatory and helps to reduce the look of redness and irritation for a smooth skin finish. 

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract: This ingredient contains active components that have soothing, astringent, and antibacterial properties. 

Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract: Contains an active ingredient known as escin that helps to maintain healthy blood circulation and strengthen capillaries. Horse Chestnut also contains anti-inflammatory properties, making it soothing for the skin. 

Rosa Moschata (Rosehip) Seed Oil: This ingredient contains fatty acids that are essential for the skin. Rosehip is great for hydrating dry skin and absorbing oil. 

Ascorbyl Palmitate: Is a form of vitamin C and works as an antioxidant. 

Tocopheryl Acetate: This ingredient is a pure form of vitamin E and also works as an antioxidant for the skin. 

Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract: Is a hydroglycolic extract of clover flowers that helps to treat dryness, loss of tone, and lack of thickness in skin. 

Tilia Platyphyllos Flower Extract: Comes from linden blossoms and is used to hydrate and sooth skin. 

Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract: This ingredient comes from peppermint plants and works to sooth skin. It also has antioxidant and antiallergenic properties. 

Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower Extract: Contains doses of flavonoids, as well as vitamins C and E. This makes the ingredient have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties which makes it a great way to treat acne and other skin irritations. Mallow also helps with eczema, psoriasis, and other wounds. 

Hypericum Perforatum (St. John’s Wort) Flower Extract: Has antibacterial, antioxidant, and antiviral properties that help to repair dry and damaged skin. 

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract: Contains terpenoids chamazulene and bisabolol which have anti-inflammatory properties. It also has antioxidant properties, soothing the skin. 

Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: This product also contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to sooth the skin. It has healing abilities and great for treating wounds. 

Achillea Millefolium l. (Yarrow) Flower Extract: Is an extract from the plant that helps with damaged and dry skin. Yarrow works by reducing flakiness and restoring supple skin. 

Alcohol Denat: This ingredient is a great solvent and has properties of astringent and antimicrobial. 

Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate: This ingredient is derived from olive oil which contains essential fatty acids. It works to hydrate the skin and restore a natural glow. 

Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables: Is rich in antioxidants and works to hydrate the skin. 

Xanthan Gum: Is a thickener and an emulsion stabilizer. Xanthan Gum is all natural, made from sugar molecules and works to thicken products to give them a more gel-like consistency.  

Sodium Hydroxide: This acts as a buffer and helps to adjust the pH of the product. 

Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate: Works to neutralize the metal ions in the formula of the product in order to keep the product lasting longer. 

Salicylic Acid: Also known as BHA, works as an anti-acne and soothing ingredient for the skin. It exfoliates the skin surface and pores in order to get a deep clean. 

Phenoxyethanol:Is a preservative in the product that is safe and gentle for all. 

Ethylhexylglycerin: Is also a preservative that works to boost the effectiveness of phenoxyethanol. 

Sorbic Acid: Is a mild preservative that is all natural. 

Sodium Benzoate: Is a preservative needed to keep the product lasting longer.  

Potassium Sorbate: Is a preservative that works against mold and yeast. 

Benzyl Alcohol: Is a preservative that can naturally be found in fruit, and is gentle to the skin. 

Eugenol: A colorless oil that works to give the product a mild spicy scent. 

Iso Eugenol: Functions as a fragrance to the product.
