Our story
Uzza was born in Barcelona in 2019, but the seed of the project was sown during the summer of 2018 in a garden with damask roses in Marrakech, chatting with friends and drinking mint tea while Yasmine Hamdan was playing in the background.
When we started Uzza, we talked about the need to create a brand that was able to listen and treat all skin types — knowing them for real. The need to radically change the concept of “inclusiveness” in the beauty industry, and make it truly inclusive so that no one else feels excluded because of being “different.” Uzza is more than a brand that sells creams: Uzza is the place to talk with your skin and take care of what you are.

Our approach to products
We formulate sourcing plant-based and sustainable laboratory-made ingredients, inspired by the beauty knowledge of Morocco and based on the most advanced dermatological science, we formulate in Barcelona with the healing properties of North-African ingredients.
At Uzza we believe in combining ancient wisdom, nature and science to enhance the benefits and properties of our formulas.
All Uzza formulas are inspired by Moroccan traditions, landscapes and ingredients that have been used for centuries to create plant-based cosmetics.

We consciously source ingredients from farmers and laboratories across Morocco and southern Europe that work following sustainable procedures.
