Decoding our INCI: 

Aqua (Water):Is a solvent that aids ingredients in dissolving because they cannot dissolve in oil.

Glycerin:Natural moisturizer found in skin that keeps lipids between skin cells healthy, protects from irritation, and restore skin barrier. 

Propylene Glycol: This ingredient helps to stabilize the product, while also being a solvent. It helps to moisturize the skin and keep it hydrated.

Xanthan Gum: Is a thickener and an emulsion stabilizer. Xanthan Gum is all natural, made from sugar molecules and works to thicken products to give them a more gel-like consistency. 

Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract: This ingredient contains bromelain, fruit acids, fruit sugars, and amino acids. The bromelain and fruit acids act as a natural exfoliator, while the fruit sugars and amino acids moisturize the skin.

Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract: Originates in Mexico and contains an enzyme that works to exfoliate the skin. This ingredient mildly removes dead skin cells from the face and smooths the skin.

Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil: This ingredient contains anti-inflammatory properties and reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Bromelain: A collection of natural enzymes derived from pineapples that exfoliate the skin and remove damaged tissue. The bromelain removes the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, allowing for a natural glow to show.

Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract: It contains citric acid that works as a natural exfoliating agent.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract: Has both antioxidant and antimicrobial agents helping to keep skin healthy and soft.

Passiflora Edulis (Passionflower) Fruit Extract: Contains antioxidant agents and improves the look and feel of dry skin. It soothes the skin and give the surface a hydrated look.

Bisabolol: Is an active ingredient of Chamomile; has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. 

Rapeseed Acid: This ingredient contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a non-fragrant oil. It has emollient and antioxidant properties. 

Glucose: Another name for sugar; contains water binding-properties which helps to keep the skin hydrated. 

Alcohol Denat: This ingredient is a great solvent and has properties of astringent and antimicrobial.

Disodium Edta: This ingredient neutralizes metal ions in the product which allows it to stay fresh longer.

Sodium Bisulfite: Is also is a preservative found in the product.

Citric Acid: Comes from citrus fruits and is used as an exfoliator to gently remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface.

Sodium Dehydroacetate: A preservative that works mainly against fungi and bacteria.

Benzyl Alcohol: Is a preservative that can naturally be found in fruit, and is gentle to the skin. 

Salicylic Acid: Also known as BHA, works as an anti-acne and soothing ingredient for the skin. It exfoliates the skin surface and pores in order to get a deep clean. 

Sorbic Acid: Is a mild preservative that is all natural.

Potassium Sorbate: Is a preservative that works against mold and yeast. 

Sodium Benzoate: Is a preservative needed to keep the product lasting longer.

Apply a coat of The Sandalwood Merchant and leave on for 10-15 minutes. After this exposure time, remove the product with water.

Use 1-2 times per week.

It is the most recommended for sensitive skin and acne-prone skin because the area is not mobilized
